I bought these two today thinking I would wear them separately. But, looking at them on the same hanger in my closet, I wonder if they would make a good pair. Thoughts? Also, what are your rules on wearing vests? So far, I like this vest with tank tops. But, would it work with short sleeves or long sleeves? I know how to ask the tough questions.

ReplyDeleteHowever, I remember earlier this summer some magazine or blog was all like, "Whitney Port totally pulled off stripes and floral" (or was it nautical and floral?) when she wore this:

and I was not such a fan. But your two pieces seem a lot more cohesive than hers, but that's just my opinion.

ReplyDeleteAs for the tough questions...I am all about mix and matching. I like stripes and florals. I like plaid and strips. I like clashing colors...like brown and black or orange and pink when done right. As for the vest I think it would look good with long sleeves for example a black turtleneck or even a oxford shirt.
